Eligibility

Learners must be at least 17 years of age and hold a valid UK provisional driving licence before lessons can begin. Proof of licence may be requested.

Lessons and Payments

Lesson fees should be paid in advance or at the time of the lesson unless otherwise agreed. Block bookings are non-transferable and must be used within a reasonable period.

Cancellations

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged at the full lesson rate.

Driving Tests

The use of the instructor’s vehicle for a practical driving test is subject to the pupil reaching the required standard. SmartPass Loughborough reserves the right to withdraw the use of the vehicle if it is considered unsafe or unsuitable to proceed.

Punctuality

Every effort will be made to arrive on time for lessons. In the event of unforeseen delays, pupils will be informed as soon as possible and any lost lesson time will be made up where practical.

Conduct

SmartPass Loughborough aims to provide a safe, respectful and enjoyable learning environment. We reserve the right to terminate lessons if a pupil behaves in an unsafe, abusive or inappropriate manner.

Photographs and In-Car Training Videos

By taking driving lessons with SmartPass Loughborough, you agree that photographs taken following a successful driving test may be shared on our website and social media pages, unless you request otherwise.

From time to time, and only with your permission, lessons may be recorded for training and quality assurance purposes. Any recordings will be used solely to help maintain the high standards of instruction required by the DVSA and will not be made public without your consent.

Privacy

Any personal information provided to SmartPass Loughborough will be treated confidentially and used only for the purposes of arranging and delivering driving lessons. Your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent unless required by law.
